Fresh off guest starring on NBC's hit 30 ROCK, and a guest star role on HBO's smash BOARDWALK EMPIRE, Matty now has a recurring role on COMEDY CENTRAL'S new show ONION SPORTS DOME, in which he appears as the hard hitting "Science & Technology Reporter". Matty also hosts the Modern Marvels special "What's In Your Pocket?" on the HISTORY CHANNEL.
This versatile actor, host and writer honed his skills on the standup-comedy and sketch scene in Boston. Matty was the co-star and head writer of "The Rocko & Matty Show" the number one afternoon drive radio show in Boston, on legacy rocker 107.3 WAAF FM. Matty's popularity as a standup comic and radio personality led to being signed by a major talent agency in NY and LA.
Since leaving his hometown of Boston for New York, Matty has appeared in over 20 National Commercials and many films. He's appeared on Vh1, Comedy Central, G4, MTV, ESPN, NBC, HBO and NBC Sports' Sunday Night Football. He is also a sought after voice talent, and provides narration and promo voice over work for many clients.
Matty was also the star and head writer of The Matty Blake Show on NBCSports.com and nbcolympic.com. His work on these web shows earned him WEBBY and Sports Emmy award nominations.
